User Manual
This code was rushed together in just a few hours within a roughly 24 hour window, so the features are not extensive. Not saying it's parity with how things are done in the real world but I can say the mismanagement and poor quality control are spot-on compared to the real thing.
Flames Programs
- Press the
UP
trim button. Dont worry, MCAS is disabled. - There are three unique programs: flame flicker, rainbow puke, and flasher.
- The fourth program iterates between the first three programs after a random delay.
- The fifth program turns off the flames.
Text Programs
- Press the
DN
trim button. Don't worry, MCAS is disabled. - There are three brightness levels, plus off.
Saving Settings
Upon changing an active program, after a short delay, the active program selections are stored in Flash. When next booting the addon, the previously stored program selections will be recalled.
USB Port
This addon has a USB micro-B port. The addon can be powered by this port. Plug it in post-con and set it somewhere to always be reminded. Might help if the nose is facing down, too.
You can also load firmware from the USB port. Hold down the BOOT
button while plugging in to activate the ROM bootloader. Use WCHISP or an open source equivalent tool to flash a .hex file.
